if it fits

because when she looks
she isn't in it

and that isn't the picture
she is trying

to take

she takes another step
backwards

and she is off the edge
falling towards the

flat stretch of dirt below

she wishes she could
take a picture of it

a picture of herself falling
silhouetted against the sky

she wants it to look at

to see just how far

she has to fall
